Client Media

As an organisation we have a very pragmatic approach to film, drama and other media. When working with homeless people in order to support and empower them, we believe this project will not only help participants explore personal solutions to their difficulties using film, drama and other media, but will also introduce participants to positive networks and relationships, increasing their positive friend's pool which we believe will help to offer participants increased self esteem, self worth, self image and confidence.

We also believe this project will create work in a range of media that will then reach a wider audience of people who can make a difference to the national problem of homelessness.

In order to achieve, awareness, empowerment and sustainability, the project aims:
  • To raise the profile of homeless people and bring to the public attention a clearer view of the causes of homelessness and the related social issues and problems.
  • To explore issues relating to homeless people in a positive and accessible way, through film, drama and other media offering a supportive environment enabling them to develop pro-active non-conflicting solutions to the difficult problems facing them in their daily lives.
  • To develop positive links with the local communities, inviting them to develop a more realistic understanding of the difficulties and challenges facing homeless people and find ways of supporting local projects to sustain the work achieved
  • To teach all participants skills in all aspects of film making, drama and media
