Training at the Ark

As well as being a drop-in for those seeking accommodation advice and assistance, the Irene Kennedy Centre is also a busy training area.

Courses for staff, volunteers and clients are run from here in such diverse areas as Food Hygiene, Manual Handling, First Aid, Basic Cookery, Fire Safety and many others.

It is also used as a meeting room both internally for staff meetings etc, but also by external agencies such as Narcotics Anonymous.

It can accommodate 30 comfortably with a disabled access toilet and a small kitchenette area for making snacks etc.
