About the scheme

This work creates a good routine, teaches practical skills, and improves the self confidence of residents. Wirral Ark Dinghies operates from an industrial unit (thanks to Wirral Council).

WAD needs sailing dinghies, volunteers to help with the scheme, and financial support.

We offer boats for sale - mostly mirror dinghies. You can view these on our sales page which details what dinghies are currently for sale, and second hand mirror parts prices.

We also make our own trolleys for sale and also often have second hand trailers, trolleys, covers, oars, and outboard engines.

In addition we effect repairs on other people's boats. We shall be pleased to quote a price for a repair to your boat, or to rub down, paint and varnish, ready for the summer.

We are happy to offer advice. We'd like to think we know a fair bit about mirror dinghies and their repair.
