Details of Mary Cole House

The Ark offers, at its Mary Cole House hostel:-

Single Room Accommodation

For both men and women. Individual locked bedrooms No double rooms, no children.

Emergency Accommodation

The Ark is direct access. i.e. applicants come to our door. Beds cannot be pre-booked. The Ark is not long stay. We expect residents to stay no longer than three months.

24 Hour Staffing

We have awake staff on duty 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Residents can come and go during the day (up to 3 times in and out), or residents can stay in all day. No visitors are allowed (other than official e.g. social worker)

Meals

Three meals a day are provided, and showers, laundry, 2 lounges, smoking in bedrooms only.

Support

There are keyworkers to assist with issues residents have. They have excellent links with other agencies. We respect confidentiality.

Move-on Accommodation

There are 6 dispersed Arkangel fully furnished 'move-on' houses with support staff.
